Shanghai Etenz Mechanical & Electrical Technology Accelerating the Construction of Prefabricated Substations In the pursuit of clean energy development, prefabricated substations have emerged as a crucial technological choice due to theirhighefficiencyandrapiddeployment characteristics.Recently,Shanghai Etenz completed a landmark project—producing a prefabricated 110KVsubstationfortheRiyueguangfactory,markingasignificant advancement in the application of prefabricated substation technology in China. Located in an industrial market with rapidly growing demand, the Riyueguang factory's production operations rely heavily on this newly built substation. Shanghai Etenz adopted a unique prefabrication method, shifting most of the substation's construction process to theirfactory. Thisapproachnotonlyenhancedconstructionefficiencybutalso significantly ensured the quality of the project. 三T三N Shanghai Etenz Mechanical & Electrical Technology Thesubstationfeatures atwo-layer structural design. Thefirst layer houses primary equipment, which Etenz constructed using eight 40-foot containers joined together. The second layer contains secondary equipment, completed with six containers of the same specifications. This modular construction method made the assembly and transportation of the entire substation more convenient and reliable. At Shanghai Etenz's factory, the entire substation was built from scratch, completed in 90 days of intensive production. This process included manufacturing the outer shell, internal wiring, and installation and securing of primary and secondary equipment, including the GIS installation. Etenz’s factory, with a production area of 40,000 square meters, ensures standardized and systematic manufacturing, significantly reducing the overall construction period. The entire substation was installed in just 15 days, an unimaginable speed in traditional substation construction.This rapiddeploymentcapability not onlysaves valuable time for customers but also significantly reduces construction costs. Technical Innovation
Intelligent Heat-Cycling & Air Intake Pre-heating System
To combat the extreme -35°C environment, we engineered a unique intelligent heat-cycling system for the mining containers. It captures waste heat generated by the ASIC miners and channels it into the air intake path to pre-heat the frigid external air. This ensures the air entering the miners is always at an optimal operating temperature, not only protecting the equipment but also drastically reducing energy consumption that would have been required for additional heating.
