This website (etenz.com) is operated by Shanghai Yitian Mechanical and Electrical Technology Co., Ltd., trading under the brand ETENZ ("we", "us"). We determine how personal information submitted through this website is handled.

2. What we collect
We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and keep the site running.
Information you give us: when you submit the contact form or a request for quotation (RFQ), we collect the name, email address, telephone number, company name, country and message you enter, together with any files you attach to an RFQ, such as drawings or specifications.
Information collected automatically: our servers log your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages and times you visit. If you consent to analytics cookies, we also collect usage data such as the pages you navigate through.
We do not collect, and never ask for, government ID numbers, bank account details, payment card data or any sensitive personal information. This website does not process payments.
3. How we use it
To answer your enquiry and prepare quotations and technical proposals; to communicate with you about a project; to keep the website secure and available, including rate limiting that prevents abusive submissions; and, where you have consented, to analyse how the site is used so we can improve it.
We do not use your information for unrelated purposes, and we do not sell personal information.
4. Who we share it with
To deliver the services above, your information is processed by the providers below. Each has access only to what it needs to provide its service to us.
HubSpot (United States) — customer relationship management; stores enquiry contact details.
Resend (United States) — sends enquiry notification emails and automatic replies.
Sanity — content management platform storing and delivering website content.
Amazon Web Services / CloudFront (United States) — hosting and content delivery; processes server access logs.
Sentry (United States) — error monitoring used to diagnose faults. Form fields such as name, email and telephone are stripped before an error is reported and never reach the error record.
Google Analytics (United States) — website usage analytics; loaded only after you consent to analytics cookies.
Upstash — submission rate limiting; processes IP addresses to prevent abuse.
Most of these providers are located outside China, so your information is transferred to and stored in other countries. By submitting an enquiry you understand and agree to that transfer.
Beyond the above, we disclose your information only where required by law or where necessary to protect our legitimate interests.
5. Cookies
Essential cookies keep basic site functions working and cannot be switched off. Analytics cookies are enabled only after you give explicit consent through the cookie banner; until then the analytics scripts are not loaded at all. You can clear stored cookies at any time through your browser settings.

6. How long we keep it
Enquiry and customer contact records are kept for three years from the last contact, for contract performance, after-sales traceability and continuity of the business relationship. Server access logs are kept for no longer than twelve months. Analytics data follows Google Analytics' default retention period.
After those periods we delete or anonymise the records.
7. Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent you previously gave. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Send requests to info@etenz.com. To protect your information we may need to verify your identity first. We will respond within 30 days of receiving your request.
8. Security
The site is served entirely over HTTPS and is protected by browser-side measures including a Content Security Policy. Form submissions are rate limited against automated abuse. Access to back-office data is granted on a least-privilege basis.
No method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed absolutely secure.
9. Children
This website is aimed at business customers, not at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal information.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is published on this page with its last-updated date. Where a change is significant we will flag it appropriately.
