Project Overview
A 720 MW/1,440 MWh grid-forming lithium iron phosphate storage plant is under development in Shapotou District, Zhongwei. For the NR Electric system package within the project, ETENZ is manufacturing 143 twenty-foot-class, 5 MWh BESS enclosures as a standardized base for equipment installation, commissioning and site deployment. The plant capacity is public project context. ETENZ’s scope is limited to this enclosure batch: structural fabrication, internal supports and enclosure-side auxiliary interfaces. It does not include battery modules, PCS equipment, storage-system integration or plant EPC. The manufacturing priority is repeatability across all 143 units.

Service Scope
Series enclosure manufacturing and enclosure-side interfaces
ETENZ manufactures the twenty-foot-class structures, arranges the internal battery-rack supports, fire-system service compartment and auxiliary distribution area, and prepares openings, mounting positions, cable routes and maintenance clearances to NR Electric interface requirements. Battery modules, PCS equipment, BESS integration and plant EPC remain outside ETENZ’s scope.

Engineering & Integration Points
Repeatability across 143 units
Critical dimensions, support positions, doors, service openings and equipment interfaces are controlled against one manufacturing baseline, with batch inspection supporting consistent downstream assembly.
Two-sided supports and central aisle
Layered equipment supports run along both sides of the enclosure while a continuous central aisle preserves defined space for installation, cable routing and maintenance.
Dedicated fire-system compartment
Fire controls, the suppression unit and auxiliary electrical components are grouped in an end service zone with an external access door and status indication.
Factory-prepared electrical interfaces
Auxiliary distribution, earthing and terminal locations are laid out before shipment, reducing the need for enclosure drilling and improvised rework on site.

Delivery Value
The 143-unit batch uses one enclosure platform and coordinated project interfaces, providing a repeatable structural and auxiliary-system base for staged equipment installation and deployment.
Project Value
In a utility-scale BESS project, enclosure variation directly affects assembly flow, interface verification and site commissioning. Standardizing the structure, supports, fire-service area and auxiliary electrical interfaces in the factory moves coordination upstream, reduces site rework risk and creates a reusable manufacturing baseline for follow-on batches.
