ETENZ is advancing BESS enclosures for the Zhongwei grid-forming energy storage project, with 143 twenty-foot-class units and their structural, fire-service and electrical interfaces prepared in the factory.
ETENZ is advancing series production of 143 twenty-foot-class 5 MWh BESS enclosures for the Zhongwei project in Ningxia. The batch supports NR Electric energy storage equipment and uses one enclosure platform and project interface baseline for downstream installation and site deployment.
Series supply for a utility-scale grid-forming project
The 720 MW/1,440 MWh grid-forming LFP energy storage project in Shapotou District, Zhongwei, is designed around large-scale modular deployment. For the 143-unit package, ETENZ brings enclosure fabrication, internal supports and enclosure-side interfaces under a common process baseline so every batch can move efficiently into equipment installation.
Enclosure fabrication and equipment interfaces prepared together
Each enclosure combines the structural shell, internal battery-rack supports, an end fire-service zone and an auxiliary distribution area. Equipment mounting points, cable routes, earthing connections, service clearances and related openings are prefabricated to the system interface, allowing downstream assembly to follow the planned layout.
Fire-service and auxiliary distribution equipment are grouped at the enclosure end.
One manufacturing baseline across 143 units
Critical dimensions, support positions, doors, service openings, fire-service zones and auxiliary electrical interfaces are fixed in common drawings and process criteria. Batch inspection controls variation and supports repeatable downstream assembly.
Equipment connection points and cable routes are prepared in the factory.
Completing the structure and interfaces before shipment reduces site modifications, stabilizes the equipment installation sequence, and creates a clear, repeatable foundation for staged transport, positioning and commissioning.
