UL Electrical Engineer

Support overseas projects through electrical design, UL-related standard review, cabinet and enclosure electrical interface checks, and compliant delivery preparation.

Job Responsibilities

Electrical scheme and drawing design: Develop low-voltage distribution, control circuits, terminal wiring, cabinet layout, and enclosure electrical interface drawings for manufacturable delivery.
UL compliance support: Review and optimize component selection, wiring, grounding, labeling, and cabinet manufacturing details against relevant UL requirements.
Manufacturing and commissioning support: Support cabinet production, enclosure wiring, FAT preparation, and corrective actions to keep design aligned with manufacturing reality.
Customer technical communication: Support overseas technical clarifications, document submissions, and project change evaluation with clear engineering responses.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's
Work Experience: 3-8 years
Familiar with low-voltage distribution, control panel design, schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.
Knowledge of UL508A, NFPA 70, or North American industrial electrical project requirements is preferred.
Understands cabinet manufacturing, enclosure installation, grounding, protection rating, and cable routing details.
Able to read English technical documents; English email communication capability is preferred.
