High-Voltage VFD Prefabrication Solution

A safer, more flexible, worry-free enclosure for your high-voltage drives

Industrial Manufacturing & Process FacilitiesPower & Utility Grid Infrastructure

High-voltage drive systems typically call for rows of VFD cabinets coordinated with cooling, power distribution and controls, and building an on-site electrical room means long schedules and heavy multi-trade overlap. ETENZ moves the enclosure structure, cabinet-row layout, ventilation and cooling, plus power-distribution, fire and security interfaces upstream into the factory as prefabrication, building the units in transport-sized sections for on-site assembly, so drive OEMs and project teams shorten the build path and cut site-integration risk.

Application Scenarios

Mining and high-altitude high-power drives

For high-power drives on mine mills, pumps and fans, ETENZ consolidates the VFD cabinet rows, cooling and controls into a single enclosure delivered for high-altitude, low-temperature and remote conditions.

Benefits

Structure and corrosion grade adapted to high-altitude, low-temperature environments
Rows of VFD cabinets consolidated in one enclosure, reducing on-site electrical-room civil work
Ultra-long enclosure shipped in sections to suit remote-mine access conditions
Realistic scene of an ultra-long prefabricated electrical enclosure for high-power drives at a high-altitude mine
On-site use and cable interfaces of a drive-system prefabricated electrical enclosure at a high-altitude open-pit mine

Detailed Solution

The electrical enclosure for a high-voltage drive system has to house rows of VFD cabinets, busbar, and control and protection panels while coordinating ventilation and cooling, power distribution, lighting, earthing, fire detection and security monitoring. Great enclosure length, many interfaces, and transport and multi-trade coordination are often the delivery bottleneck. Taking the customer's drive-equipment layout and technical agreement as inputs, ETENZ finalizes the cabinet-row zoning, cooling airflow paths, cable routes and assembly interfaces in detailed design before manufacturing, moving site coordination upstream into the factory stage.

How VFD cabinet rows, busbar, control and protection, ventilation and cooling, fire, security, earthing and cable interfaces integrate inside the ultra-long electrical enclosure

Selection and commissioning of the VFD units and the electrical system are handled by the equipment and project parties; taking approved drawings as inputs, ETENZ delivers enclosure detailed design, sectional build, auxiliary-system integration and factory inspection, so units arrive with provisioned interfaces and complete delivery documentation.
