ETENZ supported the ASE solar power project with a prefabricated 69KV substation, using factory-based manufacturing and modular integration to improve delivery speed and project reliability.
ETENZ prefabricated substation supports the construction of the ASE solar power project. As clean energy projects continue to grow, prefabricated substations have become an important technical option because they can improve efficiency and support faster deployment. ETENZ recently completed a representative project: the production of a prefabricated 69KV substation for the ASE solar power plant, marking another step forward for the application of prefabricated substation technology in China.

The ASE solar power plant serves an energy market with rapidly growing demand, and its power export system depends on this newly built substation. ETENZ adopted a prefabricated approach, moving most of the substation construction process into the factory. This method improved construction efficiency and provided stronger control over engineering quality. The substation uses a two-level structure. The first level houses primary equipment and was built by joining eight 40-foot container modules. The second level contains secondary equipment and uses six container modules of the same specification. This modular construction method makes assembly and transport more convenient and reliable.

Inside the ETENZ factory, the substation was built from the ground up and completed in 90 days, covering enclosure manufacturing, internal wiring, installation and fastening of primary and secondary equipment, and GIS fixing and installation. This factory-based production model helped standardize and systematize the manufacturing process while significantly shortening the overall project schedule.

Once the substation arrived on site, lifting and installation were completed in just 15 days, a speed that is difficult to achieve with traditional substation construction. This rapid deployment capability saved valuable time for the customer and helped reduce construction cost.

The successful delivery of this project demonstrates ETENZ capability in prefabricated substation manufacturing and provides practical experience for future projects of the same type. With advantages in efficiency, environmental performance and cost control, prefabricated substations are expected to see broader use in global energy infrastructure.
