Product Details

The start-up cubicle and incoming/outgoing cubicles face a pair of double doors on the long side, providing direct access for operation and maintenance. A cable trench with removable covers runs beneath the switchgear; cable entry direction and trench routing follow the single-line diagram and selected cubicle dimensions. The unit shown houses 12 kV fixed-type enclosed switchgear for a 10 kV system. Switchgear is customer-supplied or included in the agreed integration scope, with ratings defined by the equipment supplier; ETENZ provides mounting positions, cable trenches and enclosure interfaces.

The control area accommodates the storage control cabinet, valve-control cabinet and intelligent auxiliary-system panel in rows. Front and rear access space supports wiring and maintenance, while overhead trays and trunking route control and communication cables to the cabinets. Mounting positions, earthing connections and cable openings are prepared to the system supplier's panel layout so its cabinets can be positioned and connected on arrival.
AC supply panels occupy one row, with storage control and intelligent auxiliary-system panels in the other. The main cable tray runs above the central aisle, with smoke and heat detectors paired along its route. Linear LED lights and emergency lighting serve the aisle. Aisle width, front and rear cabinet clearances and escape direction follow equipment dimensions and project requirements.
A wall-mounted fire alarm control panel with control outputs receives signals from zoned smoke and heat detectors; input/output modules are grouped in a fire-system module box. Outside each pair of doors are a sounder-beacon and a manual call point with a protective cover. Alarm and control signals can connect to the storage EMS or station control system. Additional gas fire suppression is specified to the project's requirements.
Each end wall carries one recessed industrial air conditioner, with its condenser side outside and evaporator side inside. Local thermostatic control provides cooling and dehumidification for the switchgear and control panels. Capacity is selected for equipment heat dissipation, local climate and enclosure protection requirements. The wall openings are sealed around the units, and power comes from the enclosure's auxiliary distribution board.
A roof-mounted axial fan has a perforated stainless-steel guard, and a filtered fan louvre sits high on the doorless end wall for air exchange. A dome camera above the switchgear area can connect to the intelligent auxiliary system or the station video system. Access control, water-ingress detection and temperature/humidity monitoring are configured to project requirements.

Product FAQs
The MV direct-connect BESS enclosure houses power modules and battery cabinets, with emphasis on insulated supports, electrical clearances and equipotential bonding. The control enclosure houses MV switchgear and control panels, with emphasis on operating access, cable routes, secondary wiring and climate control. Both enclosures work together in a cascaded, direct-connect BESS, and ETENZ manufactures both types.
Control enclosure and main control house can describe the module containing MV switchgear and control panels for a direct-connect BESS unit. A substation control building generally serves the whole station and houses station control, protection and communication panels, usually without MV switchgear. ETENZ can manufacture either enclosure to the panel layout and integrate air conditioning, fire alarms and lighting.
The unit shown is arranged for a 10 kV system using 12 kV fixed-type switchgear. Common direct-connect storage connection voltages include 6 kV, 10 kV and 35 kV. For other voltage levels, enclosure dimensions and cabinet positions are established from the selected switchgear dimensions and maintenance clearances.
The unit shown measures 8000 × 3200 × 3450 mm. It is a non-standard container-style enclosure, wider than a standard shipping container, and has no CSC approval. Road transport is arranged as oversize cargo; sea freight is booked as non-standard cargo, typically on a flat rack or a breakbulk vessel. Dimensions can follow the cabinet layout and maintenance aisles, and transport arrangements are confirmed with the quotation.
ETENZ offers both. Subsystem Integration covers industrial air conditioning, ventilation, lighting, LV auxiliaries, fire alarms and video/security equipment within the agreed scope. Finished Cabin Delivery also includes factory installation of the customer's switchgear and panels. Bare-Shell Supply (Interfaces Reserved) provides the enclosure with openings, cable trenches and earthing terminals prepared for the customer's own fit-out.
ETENZ builds the enclosure to the customer's panel layout. A quotation requires the layout or equipment list with each cabinet's dimensions, weight and heat dissipation, the single-line diagram and cable entry directions, system voltage, delivery scope and site location. These define the enclosure dimensions, cable trenches and air-conditioning capacity.
Price depends on enclosure dimensions, delivery scope, corrosion protection, the air-conditioning and fire-system package supplied by ETENZ, transport method and destination requirements. Lead time follows the production schedule established after drawing approval and is stated with the quotation.
