Price depends first on the supply tier: a bare shell, a shell with ventilation and lighting subsystems, or a finished unit with the transformer and switchgear installed. Coating class, door and louver configuration, fan count and private labelling come next. Send the transformer rating and outline, the MV/LV equipment list, the project location and the tier you need, and ETENZ will quote the project.

Key Metrics
Product Features
Standard Shipping
Built to 20 ft high-cube dimensions with a CSC plate, so booking, road haulage and lifting follow normal container practice and freight is quoted as a standard box.

Three Separate Rooms
HV, transformer and LV rooms are partitioned and each opens from outside, keeping HV and LV work areas apart during maintenance.
Transformer Cooling
Low-level intake and high-level exhaust, with exhaust fans sized to the transformer losses, installed and run-tested at the factory.
Heavy-Duty Base
The base frame and floor are designed around the weight and footprint of the transformer and switchgear, so heavy equipment lands directly inside.
Auxiliaries Fitted
Lighting, smoke detection, door limit switches, exhaust fans and auxiliary power distribution are supplied and installed; on site you connect external power and signals.
Built for Outdoors
Designed for a 25-year service life, with a coating system matched to site corrosivity, sealed doors and rain-proof louvers for open-air storage plants.
Product Details

01 MV room, 02 transformer room and 03 LV room are separated, each with access from outside. AC cables from the external PCS connect to the LV side; the step-up transformer connects to the MV switchgear. Space around the transformer accommodates ventilation and maintenance. The diagram shows the compartment and interface arrangement; equipment positions, cable entries and service clearances are set from equipment outlines and the electrical design.

Three rain-proof louvers run along the lower front of the transformer room, riveted around the wall openings. Cool air enters low, passes the transformer and leaves through the upper exhaust openings, giving a bottom-to-top cooling path.
Fan boxes are bolted to the inside of the upper louvers, with round cut-outs for axial fans. The fans are selected for the transformer losses and ambient temperature, supplied and installed with the enclosure, and wired and run-tested before shipment.
Each door leaf carries a double seal that compresses against the frame to keep out rain and dust. A braided copper strap with crimped lugs and earth labels bonds every door to its frame, so an open door stays at enclosure potential.
Guarded ceiling luminaires and smoke detectors sit on brackets across the ceiling ribs, with cables in spiral wrap running into the overhead trunking. The detector alarm output is brought to an interface for the plant's fire alarm system.
Roller-lever limit switches on the door frames change state when a door opens, switching on the lights or reporting door status. Their wiring runs in spiral wrap into the vertical trunking with the other auxiliary circuits.

Product FAQs
This enclosure houses the step-up transformer and MV/LV switchgear; the PCS stays in the battery containers or in its own enclosure. A combined unit puts the PCS and transformer in one housing, so its layout and cooling are designed for the pair, and ETENZ engineers that variant per project.
Yes. The enclosure matches 20 ft high-cube dimensions and carries a CSC plate, so sea booking, road haulage and lifting follow standard 20 ft HC practice, provided the loaded weight stays within the maximum gross mass on the plate.
It depends on the transformer's outline, weight and losses: it must fit the transformer room with maintenance and airflow clearance, the transformer and switchgear together must stay within the allowable payload, and the losses set the fan count and airflow. Send the transformer outline drawing and loss data for confirmation.
The step-up transformer, MV switchgear and LV equipment can be supplied by you or integrated within scope. Exhaust fans, lighting, smoke detection, door limit switches and auxiliary distribution are supplied and installed by ETENZ.
A steel frame with corrugated steel walls and a galvanized steel roof, with the coating system chosen for the site's corrosivity. The intake and exhaust louvers have mesh behind them and the doors carry double seals, balancing airflow and dust protection; protection and corrosion classes are set for the project environment.
Earth terminals on the base frame connect to the site earthing grid, and each door is bonded to its frame with a braided copper strap, so an open door stays at enclosure potential.
