Product Details

The enclosure gives the MV switchgear line-up and its protection and control panels one integrated installation space: primary equipment — incoming and outgoing feeder cubicles, busbar and outlet cabinets, reactive-compensation cabinets — sits in the same module as the transformer protection and measurement/control panels, with DC and AC auxiliary distribution fed nearby. Equipment bases, inter-cubicle routing and maintenance access are detailed before fabrication against the equipment schedule; the double-leaf equipment doors along the side match the internal zones so large panels roll straight in. Layout and cabinet types are confirmed against the project equipment documents.

Primary and secondary systems in one enclosure

MV incoming and outgoing cubicles are positioned to the single-line scheme, with landing positions left for the busbar trunking between cabinet tops and the enclosure. Front operating aisle and rear maintenance space follow the cabinet type. The switchgear is a customer- or scope-supplied third-party line-up: ETENZ provides the equipment bases, inter-cabinet connection and in-enclosure interfaces, while the switchgear's voltage, current and short-circuit ratings follow the equipment supplier's technical agreement.

MV cables enter through the floor and are terminated in the cable basement below the raised access floor — stress cones made off, phases marked and cables cleated. Cable screens and equipment earths are collected to the PE bar and bonded to the enclosure equipotential system. The basement clearance is set to the cable bending radius and termination working space; the site earthing responsibility and earth-grid parameters are agreed per project.

A continuous maintenance aisle runs the length of the enclosure over a chequer-plate floor, with strip lighting and emergency lighting throughout and observation windows or glazed panel doors for inspection without opening cubicles. Aisle width follows front-of-cabinet operation and equipment handling; internal partitions divide the compartments with a personnel doorway, and axial fans in the partition set up directed airflow between compartments. Aisle dimensions and zoning are confirmed against the equipment layout.

Wall-mounted industrial air conditioning is sized to the internal heat load and combined with forced ventilation and louvred intakes to move directed air through the equipment zone, with temperature and humidity held to prevent condensation. Emergency exit signage, emergency lighting and smoke-detection interfaces are provided. Environmental design targets are configurable — operating temperature typically −40 to +55 ℃, altitude ≤4000 m derated — with climate and fire provisions confirmed to the deployment climate and project requirements.

The enclosure is based on a standard container, with maintenance doors, a personnel door and climate openings in the end and side walls, and ISO corner castings and lifting fittings retained on the base frame — so the module lifts, stacks and ships as an ordinary container instead of out-of-gauge project cargo. It is built to IP54/55 sealing and a C3-C5 (ISO 12944) corrosion system with a 25-year design life; overall dimensions and opening positions are customized to the equipment layout and transport conditions.

Product FAQs

It follows the project scope: the switchgear line-up, protection and control panels and other main equipment can be customer-supplied or a nominated brand, or sourced to the equipment schedule. ETENZ handles the enclosure manufacture, equipment bases, interface pre-fabrication, in-enclosure integration and inter-cabinet wiring; the switchgear's voltage, current and short-circuit ratings follow the equipment supplier's technical agreement.

Building on a standard container base and keeping the ISO corner castings and CSC plate lets the whole module lift, stack and ship as an ordinary container, avoiding the extra cost and schedule of out-of-gauge transport. The container structure also has defined load and stacking performance, which suits ocean and multimodal delivery.

Yes. The bare-enclosure, interface-prepared and system-integration tiers are chosen by equipment source and site integration capability. Bare-enclosure supply already includes equipment bases, the raised-floor cable basement, cable openings and lifting/handling interfaces.

MV cables enter through the floor into the cable basement under the raised access floor, where terminations are made off, phases marked and cables cleated; cable screens and equipment earths are collected to the PE bar and bonded to the enclosure equipotential system. Basement clearance follows the bending radius and termination space; the site earth-grid parameters are confirmed per project.

Sized to the internal heat load and deployment climate: wall-mounted air conditioning, forced ventilation and dehumidification combined, with inter-compartment ventilation setting up directed airflow. Operating temperature is typically −40 to +55 ℃ (configurable), altitude ≤4000 m derated, with the configuration confirmed to the heat load during detailed design.

The switchgear and panel equipment schedule with heat dissipation, the single-line and cable-entry requirements, the deployment environment (temperature, altitude, corrosion requirement), dimensional and transport limits, and the cooperation tier and expected quantity.
