Product Details

The cabin provides continuous, centralized installation space for STATCOM / SVG converter sections and their panels: equipment foundations, floor cable routes, and maintenance aisles are developed from the equipment list before manufacture, with tray and duct positions reserved on walls and ceiling. Each pair of double equipment doors lines up with an internal bay, so large sections roll straight into position. Layout and aisle dimensions are confirmed to the project equipment documentation.

Equipment-Ready Interior

HV connections leave the cabin through wall bushings: cutouts, mounting plates, sealing, and the external clearance the bushing needs are prefabricated to the single-line diagram. Bushings can be delivered with the enclosure or supplied by the equipment vendor with ETENZ preparing the mounting interface. Site work is reduced to connecting the external bus or cable — no on-site cutting that would compromise the enclosure's protection and coating system. Bushing type and voltage class are confirmed per project.

Wall-mounted industrial air conditioning is sized to the converter heat load and combined with ceiling circulation fans, forced extraction, and louvered intake to drive directed airflow through the equipment bays. Temperature and humidity control prevents condensation and protects power electronics. Environmental design targets are configurable: operating temperature typically −40 to +55 °C, altitude up to 4,000 m (derated), with the HVAC configuration confirmed to deployment climate and heat load.

Lighting, service sockets, HVAC supply, and monitoring circuits feed from a centralized auxiliary distribution box with tiered miniature breakers, terminal rows, and clear circuit labeling; signal terminals are reserved for connection to remote monitoring. Auxiliary distribution assemblies are designed and manufactured by ETENZ, with circuit configuration confirmed to the equipment list and an energized function check completed before shipment.

Sealed service hatches and viewing windows in the cabin walls let operators check equipment status and perform local operations without opening the main doors, limiting exposure of the internal environment. Hatch flanges and gaskets are designed as part of the enclosure protection system, so the cabin holds its IP54/55 rating when closed. Hatch positions and count are arranged around the equipment layout and O&M requirements.

Rows of double equipment doors along the cabin's long side correspond one-to-one with the internal equipment bays. Doors carry multi-point locking hardware and full-perimeter gaskets, with drained frames for lasting outdoor sealing. Door openings are sized to the largest equipment section, and separate personnel doors keep routine inspection from opening the large equipment doorways.
