Metal-clad design
The cabinet separates breaker truck, busbar, cable and low-voltage control compartments, and the breaker withdraws as a complete unit for maintenance, keeping a fault or a service operation inside its own compartment.
Primary scheme
Incoming, feeder, bus-tie, sectionalising, metering and station-service circuits line up against the project single-line diagram; entry direction, busbar rating and spare cubicle positions are settled once at drawing approval.
Secondary wiring
Protection relays, metering, CT/VT, auxiliary supplies and communication interfaces are installed, wired and circuit-checked in the works, with secondary terminals, wire numbers and external I/O boundaries fixed on the project drawings.

Model code breakdown
Four separated compartments carry the breaker truck, the busbar, the cables and the relay and instrument equipment, with a pressure relief duct across the top. The breaker sits on a truck that withdraws as a unit, so maintenance on one circuit does not open the busbar compartment, and a fault stays inside the compartment where it starts.
A feeder cabinet runs from the busbar through the truck contacts, the circuit breaker, the lower contacts and the current transformer to the cable termination, with an earthing switch on the cable side. Incoming, bus-tie, sectionalising, metering and station-service cabinets reuse the same components in different arrangements, which is what makes a mixed line-up buildable from one family.
Top and bottom entry are both available, and the two can be mixed across a line-up; the busbar bridge over the cabinet tops carries the inter-panel connection. Entry direction follows the cabinet type, the cable termination form and the site routing, and ETENZ fixes the interface positions and reserved clearances on the project drawings before manufacture starts.

Standard documentation travelling with the cabinets covers project approval drawings, component schedules, wiring documents and packing lists. Inspection records are issued to the scope agreed in the technical agreement; where witness testing or a specific report format is needed, raising it during quotation and technical clarification allows the test and witness dates to be scheduled.
A report only covers the configuration actually tested. Model, ratings, standard edition, manufacturing entity, place of manufacture and target market all have to line up - any one of them off and the report does not apply to your cabinet. Send the project requirements and the applicable documents can be selected; a company management-system certificate is not a substitute for product electrical performance evidence.
Both are 12 kV metal-clad withdrawable types. KYN28A-12 is the broader established family and takes a 16-50 kA short-time withstand, which suits ordinary incoming, feeder and bus-tie line-ups. KYN550-12 reaches 4000 A on the main busbar at 550-1000 mm cabinet width, which suits switchrooms where floor space is tight but main busbar current is high.
