No. It condenses moisture on a Peltier-cooled surface, with no compressor or refrigerant, which keeps it small and light enough to mount directly on the inside wall of the cabinet.

BESS Cabinet Dehumidifier (60–128 W)
For BESS and outdoor cabinet builders: Peltier condensation drying that starts itself above the set humidity and drains the water out of the cabinet.
Key Metrics
Product Features
No compressor
A Peltier module does the cooling, so there is no compressor and no refrigerant; at 1–1.5 kg the unit hangs on the cabinet wall and takes up very little room.

Starts on humidity
Set the start humidity once and the unit switches itself on whenever the cabinet air gets damper than that, with no manual switching in daily operation.
Condensate drained
Condensate runs through a drain hose to the outside, so the moisture taken out of the air actually leaves the cabinet.
±3 %RH accuracy
Humidity is controlled to the set point within ±3 %RH, with temperature accuracy of ±1 °C.
Sized to the cabinet
Choose 60 W, 100 W or 128 W by cabinet size and moisture load, so a small cabinet gets a small unit.
Cabinet integration
Mounting position, drain route and wall penetration are settled at the cabinet design stage; the unit ships on its own or factory-fitted in ETENZ E-House and BESS enclosures.

Cabinet air condenses on the cold face; the water collects and leaves through the drain hose
Under power, a Peltier module turns cold on one face and hot on the other. A fan draws cabinet air across the cold face, where water vapor condenses on the fins; the droplets collect and run off through the D10 drain hose, and the dried air returns to the cabinet. Heat from the hot face is shed by a heat sink. With no compressor on board, the three sizes run at 50–60 dB(A).

The humidity sensor reads 0–99 %RH. The start humidity is set between 25 and 98 %RH, 60 %RH from the factory: once relative humidity in the cabinet rises above it, the unit starts drying. Dehumidification works between 5 and 45 °C, and the unit itself runs in 0–50 °C surroundings. Where a cabinet stays below 5 °C for long periods in winter, plan for heating in the cabinet as well, for example a BESS cabinet air conditioner with a heating mode.
The dehumidifier sits on an inside wall of the cabinet; at 65–73 mm deep, it fits the gap beside a battery rack or panel. The drain outlet takes a D10 hose that runs downhill all the way out of the cabinet, with the exit point sealed against insects and water. Choose a spot where the air moves freely and leave clear space in front of the air inlet.
The three sizes are rated at 400, 500 and 800 mL/d, measured at 25–30 °C and above 85 %RH. Size by the cabinet's air volume, how tightly it is sealed and the local humidity: a larger cabinet, more frequent door opening or a damper climate calls for a bigger unit. Housings range from 115 × 184 × 65 mm to 143.5 × 289 × 73 mm, and all three run on single-phase 220 V ±15%, 50/60 Hz.

Product FAQs
For small enclosed spaces such as BESS and telecom cabinets, a thermoelectric unit is the usual choice: it is compact and mounts inside the cabinet. The rated capacity of each size is in the specification table; rooms and larger spaces that need more moisture removal are sized separately.
The start humidity is adjustable; the factory default and the setting range are in the specification table. The unit starts drying whenever relative humidity in the cabinet rises above the set value.
Out of the cabinet through the drain hose. When the dehumidifier is integrated with an ETENZ enclosure, the hose route and the wall penetration are fixed at the enclosure design stage.
It runs within the ambient temperature range listed in the specification table. If the inside of a cabinet stays below the lower dehumidifying temperature limit for long periods, plan cabinet heating as well, for example a BESS cabinet air conditioner with a heating function.
Yes. Any closed cabinet that needs humidity control can use it the same way; the mounting position and drain route are set to suit the cabinet structure.
The inside dimensions of the cabinet and how well it is sealed, the temperature and humidity range at site, the supply voltage, the quantity, and whether the units are supplied on their own or integrated into the cabinet.
